Narrative design for immersive exhibitions and experiences, creative strategy for brand experiences
I’m a designer, artist and facilitator with over 15 years experience across experiential design. I’m fascinated with how design can help people connect, communicate, inform and inspire, on both an individual and collective level. My work draws on all aspects of being human - all the ways we experience our ‘humanness’ - to create richer experiences and deeper engagement. I do this for brands, agencies, institutions and communities.
I’m the founding director at House of Cultural Curiosity, a narrative design studio, specialising in immersive museum exhibitions and commercial brand experiences.
The pandemic has triggered big shifts for immersive design and accelerated pre-existing, exponential changes across the sector, with a huge impact on audiences, clients and creatives. With this in mind, in 2020 I founded The Experience Shift, a collaborative research project exploring the future of immersive experience design, inviting a new way of seeing, working, creating and hosting designed experiences.
I’m interested in connecting with fellow creative practitioners, institutions, venues, brands and community groups - all those commissioning, designing and creating ‘experiences’ - to collectively power the experience shift.
