Creator of Immersive Experiences with a specialty in Narrative.
Jamie writes, directs and produces. At the beginning of her writing career, she won the Outstanding Achievement in Screenwriting at NYU’s film program. Soon after, she wrote a screenplay for hire for Universal Studios. At NYU, she also directed and produced two award-winning short films and later was chosen for the Samsung VR Lab where she wrote, directed and produced a narrative VR horror film.
She most recently directed Hairpiece, a short film and proof of concept for her feature project, Bait, that made finalist in the prestigious Austin Film Festival Screenwriting Competition and was chosen for the NYWIFT From Script to Preproduction Lab, the NYU Production Lab and IFP (Gotham) Week.
Jamie attended the Masters program at NYU ITP where she started her work as an interactive technologist. At ITP she focused on integrating narrative with technology. Since graduating, she has helped design and produce immersive experiences for Amazon, Asics, AT&T, BMW, Ford, IBM, Lincoln Center/New York Philharmonic, Modcloth, MSG Sphere, Tezos and Warner Brothers.
She was also the Head of Story on WILD: A Safari Experience for Radical Media and Illuminarium. As a lead creative on this project, she was able to combine her skills as a writer, a filmmaker and an immersive storyteller, bridging the three disciplines she believes are essential in the best experiential entertainment.
Her most recent project, Zero School: Maddy’s Secret History, is a middle grade action-adventure novel that aims to inspire those middle schoolers who are underrepresented in science and technology, and get them excited about those subjects.
