Lineup 3 – Your Voice, Our Compass: Vote Now For London Experience Week

Every year, the WXO’s annual event delivers experiences, events, workshops, and encounters that leave people saying, “That was exactly what I needed – but not what I expected.”

That’s because we don’t just curate – we co-create.

Right now, people from across the world of experience design are stepping forward, pitching what they want to share. But here’s the twist: rather than sitting in a dark room making mysterious decisions, we’re letting you tell us what should make the cut.

This is where you come in. Vote. Your vote won’t vanish into a black hole – it genuinely shapes what happens. When we design the programme, we’ll be listening hard to what gets the most energy and enthusiasm. Of course, we’ll also add a dash of surprise (it wouldn’t be London Experience Week if we didn’t), but this is how we tune into what matters to you.

So:
Vote now – tell us what excites you.
Share this – get your friends and colleagues involved.
Help shape London Experience Week and the future of experiences.

After all, we’re here to equip experience professionals like you with the tools, ideas, and connections to thrive. And what better way to start than by co-creating the very thing that brings us together?

This is our third and penultimate lineup!

10. ICE (Immersive Community Experience) Workshop

For over 20 years, we have begun each summer by transforming an abandoned monastery on the Oder River into an ephemeral town for 6,000 people. “SLOT” is a town that exists only 5 days a year and you can only visit it by getting involved: in volunteering, crowdfunding or co-creating the program. We believe that festivals designed in this way – as an immersive community experiences – can be an opportunity to feel a sense of community, to feel seen and influential in real life, but also value that.

We want to share how to create that with simple tools like a common camp-work-play in the heritage and nature scenography.

5. Engineering Emotions: Crafting Experiences that Make People Feel

with Tobias Geisler

Description:
The technologization of our day-to-day has been super-charged with AI. It almost seems at odds with the times to talk about something as analogue as emotions. Yet, it’s anything but. In fact, emotions have never been more essential to how we connect with one another – and with brands.

We’re living in the experience economy, where people are choosing experiences instead of products, seeking not just entertainment but meaningful, transformative moments. But what sets great experiences apart today? It’s the ability to make people feel. Emotion is what drives connection, and connection is what drives loyalty.

In this talk, I’ll explore how brands can tap into this by designing experiences that evoke genuine emotions. We’ll discuss how to create moments that aren’t just memorable, but truly transformative – helping people see the world – and themselves – in new ways.

By blending cutting-edge technology with human-centric creativity, we can craft experiences that resonate long after the moment has passed. It’s not just about delivering great experiences; it’s about engineering emotional connections that make people feel seen, heard, and valued.

That’s how brands become part of people’s stories. That’s how experiences shift from being “just an event” to becoming a catalyst for change.

Let’s explore how to build those connections and create experiences that stay with people long after they’re over.
